I feel better after that little rest and to celebrate my return to health I have put together a dish named Peking At My Mussles.
It comprises of an 'on the vine' tomato entree, a bowl of less-than-fresh mussles served with a cage of spare ribs and a jumbo bag of tesco prawn crackers on the side.
Today I've opted for a more minimal approach to lunchtime dining. I have to admit to feeling a bit under the weather today therefore my lunch consists of watered down Tesco apple & strawberry cordial with a dash of sprite.
Today's gastroganza is the unmistakable Naany Beef Curtains infected with an Angry Crab nestling between two swollen bollock dumplings.
This is one of those really homely lunches that reminds me of my youth being brought up by Indian dairy farmers on the south coast, I hope you like it too and maybe give it a whirl some time.
Keepin with the Regal theme, today's lunch features not one but two tins of Princes tinned animals.
Ladies and gentleman I present to you the Regal Beef Reef consisting of two 'sweet pepper boats' manned by corned beef with celery oars and Princes tinned pilchards dancing on the bow waves. Garnished with tomato bouys on the vine and a cucumber distress flare.
Today I have opted for the finest tinned ham known to man, served on a bed of micro cous cous with a Mayo lattice and reggae reggae jacket on the side (no butter).
This dish is a little more complex than my usual lunch but seeing as it was 'Princes' tinned ham I felt I had to crank it up a notch to match the regal occasion.
